Genalyte Showcases Fully-Automated Blood Testing and Next-Gen Immunoassays at ADLM 2025

CHICAGO, IL – July 28, 2025 – Genalyte is exhibiting this week at ADLM 2025, showcasing how its fully automated diagnostic platforms are transforming blood testing at the point of care. Live demonstrations of both the Merlin and Maverick systems will take place at Booth #3852 throughout the event.

Unlike traditional lab workflows, which rely on manual benchtop analyzers or send-outs to centralized labs, Genalyte’s Merlin platform delivers results in under 30 minutes with no manual steps, no specialized staff required, and built-in quality checks. Designed for clinics, hospitals, and underserved areas without access to lab testing, the Merlin is built to increase speed and reliability while reducing the pre-analytical errors and staffing burdens associated with benchtop and send-out lab testing. 

On Tuesday, July 29, Genalyte will present two scientific posters highlighting recent validation studies on each platform:

• Poster A-379: Merlin: Advancing Point-of-Care Diagnostics - Streamlining Patient Care with the Merlin

This study compares Merlin’s performance to standard benchtop analyzers across a broad test menu. The platform automates everything from sample input to result, with integrated quality controls that verify tube type, reagent integrity, and sample stability-  features typically not available at the point of care.

• Poster A-380: Maverick: Revolutionizing Immunoassay Testing with Photonic Ring Resonance Technology for Faster, More Accurate Results
  This study details performance data from Genalyte’s Maverick system for TSH (FDA cleared in July 2024) and hsCRP (in development). Maverick uses photonic ring resonance sensors to detect analytes directly from whole blood, enabling real-time multiplex testing in a compact format.

Live demonstrations of Merlin and Maverick will be taking place at Booth #3852 throughout the week of ADLM 2025.
