Genalyte has developed a next generation multiplex capable instrument and consumable designed to reduce or in many situations eliminate the most time consuming and expensive part of clinical assay development and testing Sample Preparation.
The Genalyte Maverick Instrument platform has been developed over the last three years. Maverick is a 3rd generation instrument platform that employs a Microring Sensor consumable.
Maverick Detection System:
The Maverick uses a proprietary consumable, each containing an array of Microring Sensors functionalized with monoclonal antibodies and/or controls. A sample, typically <25μL in volume, is drawn from a 96-well plate into to a plastic consumable containing the Microring Sensors. The Maverick instrumentation reads proteins binding to the sensor in real-time. Limited or no sample preparation, and no labels or incubation are required. Maverick results are available in 2-10 minutes depending on concentration. Accompanying Genalyte software uses binding kinetics to measure concentration. All targets in the multiplexed assay are analyzed simultaneously and in real-time. In addition, the Maverick’s internal environment can be altered to meet demanding testing requirements.
The Maverick Instrument is one of the few platforms that are capable of scaling to your demanding development and test volume requirements. Genalyte’s Multiplex Maverick platform brings a commercially accepted standard, Plug and Play, to the Life Science market. As a user of the Maverick system you will be able to easily expand from one to eight test units with little incremental cost. This means you will be able to expand your testing by as much as eight times your original volume.
Our Microring Sensors are capable of analyzing from 1 to 128 individual unique chemistries in as little as 10 minutes from a single sample. There are three unique ways a user of our multiplex sensor technology can advance their test: universal content development, custom content development, and Genalyte content.
